Platform · Spatial resolution

Hybrid Spatial Resolution Index.

How 3Y turns complex geographic boundaries into fast, property-level location context.

Why location is harder than an address

An address is simple. Location is not.

A property can sit near a census boundary, flood boundary, city edge, county line, or neighborhood transition. Broad labels like city and zip code are often too general for investment analysis.

Good location intelligence needs to be specific enough to matter, but fast enough to support a product experience where users are not waiting on heavy GIS processing for every property.

The tradeoff

Simple lookup is fast. Full GIS processing is precise. 3Y needs both.

The Hybrid Spatial Resolution Index separates locations where the answer is obvious from locations where boundaries require extra care.

Plain-English method

Fast where the answer is clear. Precise where the boundary matters.

3Y pre-organizes geographic space into small lookup areas. When a property clearly belongs to one area, the answer can be resolved quickly. When the property sits near a boundary, 3Y selectively uses more precise geometry to resolve the correct local context.

Clear area → fast lookup · Boundary area → precise resolution

Why it matters for investors

Property-level context can change how the numbers feel.

Better spatial resolution helps 3Y interpret local signals that may affect investment performance, especially when broad geography would hide variation inside the same market.

What HSRI does not claim.

The Hybrid Spatial Resolution Index does not replace official government maps, surveys, insurance determinations, legal boundaries, or professional due diligence. It is a spatial intelligence layer designed to help 3Y organize location data into faster, clearer investment analysis.
